MPL Malaysia is the most popular MLBB league in the country. WG87 offers betting on every MPL MY match, with markets covering series winner, map handicap, and first blood.
The International is the world's biggest e-sports tournament by prize pool. WG87 covers every stage — from Asian regional qualifiers all the way through to The International grand finals.
VCT Pacific features the best teams from across the Asia-Pacific region, including Malaysian representatives. Betting on map winner, total rounds, and overall match winner is available at WG87.
CS2 Major tournaments and ESL Pro League are among the highest-volume esports betting events on WG87 — with markets available for map results, pistol rounds, and exact scores.
Advantages of Esports Betting at WG87: Players who actively follow the Malaysian esports scene hold a significant edge over casual bettors. Knowledge of the latest rosters, current game meta, and head-to-head records is information that often isn't fully reflected in WG87's odds — especially for local teams that receive limited coverage from international media. This is where informed players can find real value.

A smarter approach to extending your playtime and improving your chances of winning
Players who bet across too many sports at once often make decisions based on incomplete information. Pick one sport you genuinely know well — badminton, for instance, if you regularly follow the BWF Tour — and focus your WG87 bets there before branching out into other sports.
If you follow MPL Malaysia closely and know the current rosters, a team's weaknesses in the present meta, and the head-to-head records between MPL sides — you hold a meaningful information edge over the odds WG87 sets. That kind of niche knowledge is a highly valuable asset in esports betting.
For badminton and tennis — sports where momentum shifts quickly — WG87's live betting opens up compelling opportunities. When a top player unexpectedly drops the first set, the odds on them winning lengthen. If you believe it's a slow start rather than a sign of weakness, those improved odds can offer excellent value.
Badminton players who are required to play two matches in a single day, or who have just arrived from a long trip, may not be performing at their peak. These physical factors are publicly available information yet are often not fully reflected in WG87 market odds — particularly for matches in the early rounds of a tournament.
There is something genuinely interesting about the Malaysian sports landscape — we are a nation with remarkably diverse sporting interests. Unlike many countries where a single sport dominates, Malaysian fans are passionate about badminton, esports, basketball, Formula 1, boxing, and much more. At WG87, this diversity is not just acknowledged — it's embraced with truly comprehensive betting coverage spanning more than 30 sports.
The Sports page at WG87 is the central hub for all betting outside of football — from the badminton courts at Axiata Arena Kuala Lumpur, to the rapidly maturing MPL Malaysia esports stage, to the Formula 1 circuit in Monte Carlo watched by millions of Malaysian fans every summer.
No other sport holds a place quite like badminton in the hearts of Malaysians. From the era of Jalani Sidek and Razif Sidek to the current generation led by Lee Zii Jia, Pearly Tan and M. Thinaah — Malaysia has consistently produced world-class badminton players who make every BWF tournament a highly anticipated national event.
At WG87, badminton is far more than just a line item in the sports menu. It is a category that receives the attention and market depth it deserves, reflecting how much it means to Malaysian players. For every Malaysia Open, Thomas Cup, Uber Cup, or BWF World Tour Final match, you will find over 40 betting markets — from overall match result and set handicap to over/under total games, first set winner, and even specialty markets such as whether a specific player will reach 21 points without exceeding 25.
The real edge for Malaysian badminton fans betting at WG87 is local knowledge. You know who's in peak form, who's coming back from injury, who performs better on indoor courts versus outdoor, and how Malaysia's climate can affect players arriving from cooler countries. That insight is a genuine advantage that isn't always reflected in WG87's opening odds — especially for matches in the early rounds of a tournament.
WG87 Tips for Badminton: For Thomas Cup and Uber Cup team matches, team betting carries a different dynamic from individual wagering. Malaysia often performs considerably stronger as a unit than their players' individual rankings might suggest — team spirit and home crowd support are genuine factors. WG87 recommends factoring this in when evaluating odds for Malaysian team fixtures.
Malaysia ranks among the highest esports penetration rates in Southeast Asia. MPL Malaysia, launched in 2018, has grown into a professional league watched by millions, with teams like RSG MY, TODAK, and numerous other organisations each commanding their own dedicated fanbases.
WG87 recognises that players who actively follow the Malaysian e-sports scene bring a unique and valuable edge to their betting. They have a deep understanding of the current MLBB meta, know the strengths and weaknesses of every MPL team, and can assess performance far more accurately than general odds set purely on win-loss records.
For Dota 2, The International is the pinnacle of the competitive season, bringing together a prize pool worth millions of dollars. Malaysia and Southeast Asia as a whole have strong representatives on the international stage, and the tournament receives full coverage at WG87. For Valorant fans, VCT Pacific — featuring the top teams across Asia Pacific — is a league attracting growing attention within Malaysia's esports betting community at WG87.
Much like EPL fans who stay up late to watch football, Malaysian NBA fans are well accustomed to a demanding schedule — games tip off between 8 and 10 in the morning Malaysian time, meaning early alarms or bleary-eyed pre-work viewing sessions. For the truly dedicated, though, it's a ritual worth keeping.
WG87 provides comprehensive NBA coverage with over 50 betting markets per game — from match winner, point spread handicap, and over/under total points, to first-quarter winner and individual player markets such as who will record a triple-double or who will score 30 or more points. This depth of markets makes the NBA one of the most exciting sports to bet on at WG87.
Formula 1 has a deeply passionate fan base in Malaysia — partly thanks to the legacy of the Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang, which, even after its discontinuation, still lives on fondly in memory. F1 betting at WG87 is unique among sports because factors such as pit stop strategy, car reliability, weather, and team orders can dramatically alter race outcomes.
Popular F1 markets at WG87 include race winner, podium finish, pole position, fastest lap, and specials such as whether a safety car will be deployed or how many retirements there will be. Technical knowledge of each team's performance across different circuits is a major advantage in F1 betting.
