Before the cards are dealt, choose your side: Banker, Player, or Tie. Enter your bet amount — minimum RM5 at most WG87 tables.
Banker and Player each receive two face-up cards. Card values: A=1, 2–9=face value, 10/J/Q/K=0. The hand's point total is the last digit of the combined card values.
Third card rules are applied automatically. If either hand totals 8 or 9 (a Natural), no third card is drawn and the round ends immediately.
The hand closest to 9 wins. Banker wins pay 0.95:1, Player pays 1:1, and Tie pays 8:1. Winnings are credited directly to your WG87 account.
| Card | Value | Calculation Example | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ace (A) | 1 point | A + 7 = 8 points | Low-value cards |
| 2 to 9 | Face value | 6 + 5 = 11 → 1 point | Only the last digit counts |
| 10, J, Q, K | 0 points | K + 9 = 9 points | Picture cards are worth zero |
| Natural 8 | 8 points | 6 + 2 = 8 (Natural) | Round ends immediately, no third card drawn |
| Natural 9 | 9 points | 5 + 4 = 9 (Natural) | Highest — "Le Grande Natural" |
No strategy can guarantee a win every time — but the right approach can extend your session and maximise your chances.
Banker carries the lowest house edge at 1.06%, compared to Player at 1.24% and Tie at 14.4%. Even with the 5% commission on Banker wins, it remains the statistically strongest choice for longer sessions at WG87.
While the 8:1 payout on a Tie looks tempting, it only hits around 9.5% of the time. With a house edge of 14.4%, the Tie is the worst bet on the table — place it occasionally for the thrill, not as a core strategy.
A positive progression betting system — increase your bet after each win following this sequence: 1 unit, 3 units, 2 units, then 4 units. If you win all four stages, reset to 1 unit. If you lose at any stage, start over from 1. Works well at WG87's Classic Baccarat tables.
Set a win limit (e.g., stop when you're up 30% on your bankroll) and a loss limit (e.g., stop when you've lost 40%). This discipline is more effective than any mathematical betting system — and you can apply it directly through your WG87 account settings.

Ask any seasoned casino player in Malaysia about their favourite game, and chances are the answer you'll hear most is baccarat. There's something about this game that naturally suits the Malaysian community's style of play — it's fast, easy to follow, and offers fairly reasonable odds compared to most other casino games. That's why the baccarat section at WG87 always has active players at any time of day or night.
Unlike poker, which demands deep strategy, or blackjack, which requires understanding complex rules, baccarat at its core comes down to a single decision — do you back the Banker or the Player? This simplicity makes it incredibly accessible for new players, while still offering enough depth for experienced players who want to apply their bankroll management strategies.
One of the most important things every player sitting down at a WG87 baccarat table should understand is the house edge, or house edge. For the Banker bet, the house edge is just 1.06% — meaning that in theory, for every RM100 you wager on Banker over the long run, your expected loss is only RM1.06. Compared to regular slots, which typically carry a house edge of 3% to 8%, baccarat is one of the most player-friendly options in the casino ecosystem.
The Player bet is not far behind — with a house edge of 1.24%, it remains very low. Only the Tie bet should be seriously avoided, as its 14.4% house edge is significantly higher. At WG87, we always encourage our players to make decisions based on facts rather than emotion or gut feeling.
WG87 Tip: The No Commission Baccarat tables available at WG87 remove the standard 5% commission on Banker wins — bringing the Banker house edge down to near 0% under normal conditions, making it a highly attractive option for players who consistently prefer betting Banker.
One thing live baccarat players at WG87 often mention is the sense of comfort that comes from interacting with dealers who understand the local context. While many dealers conduct the game in English, some tables at WG87 feature dealers who actively engage in Bahasa Malaysia — greeting players, celebrating wins, and occasionally adding a touch of humor that keeps the atmosphere relaxed.
This sets us apart from other platforms where you might only see a foreign dealer with no connection to the local context. At WG87, we make a conscious effort to ensure the playing experience feels familiar and relevant to Malaysian players — not just a literal translation of a Western casino experience.
The most common issue live baccarat players in Malaysia face is choppy streaming, especially on mobile data. WG87 has invested in streaming infrastructure specifically optimized for Southeast Asia, ensuring consistent video quality even when playing over 4G in areas with moderate signal coverage.
Wg87's baccarat stream uses a multi-bitrate delivery system that automatically adjusts video quality based on your internet speed — no manual settings needed. This keeps gameplay smooth whether you're at home in Petaling Jaya on fibre WiFi or on a work break in Ipoh using mobile data.
When you play baccarat at WG87, every ringgit you deposit or withdraw is protected with 256-bit SSL encryption. Whether you use Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow, or FPX via Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks — all these channels are securely integrated into the WG87 system.
Withdrawing your baccarat winnings is designed to be just as fast. For Malaysian e-wallets, funds typically arrive within 10 to 30 minutes. No unnecessary hoops to jump through, no excessive documentation for standard withdrawals — WG87 believes your winnings are yours, and accessing them should be simple.
Within Malaysia's betting culture, baccarat holds a special place. It goes beyond just a game — it's a social activity that brings people together. At wg87, the live chat feature during gameplay lets players interact with one another, share reactions to surprising outcomes, and build an engaged, supportive community.
Many WG87 players say that playing baccarat with friends online feels remarkably close to sitting together at a physical table. This is one of the live dealer platform's greatest achievements — something no automated casino game can truly replicate.
